Satiksmes ministrijā notiek Ceļu satiksmes drošības padomes sēde, kurā Satiksmes ministrija iepazīstina ar Ceļu satiksmes drošības plāna 2017.-2020.gadam rezultatīvo rādītāju izpildi, tostarp pērn realizētajiem projektiem ceļu satiksmes negadījumu novēršanai un Valsts policija par ceļu satiksmes drošības statistiku par iepriekšējiem deviņiem gadiem (laika periods no 2010.-2019.gadam).
