Vītola vārdā nosaukto Gada balvu par izcilu devumu enerģētikā 2019. gadā Dr.habil.sc.ing. Dagnijai Blumbergai svinīgajā pasākumā Rīgas Tehniskās universitātes Inženierzinātņu vidusskolā.
