Sākot mākslas darbu pārvešanu uz atjaunoto Latvijas Nacionālā mākslas muzeja ēku, tajā svinīgi novietots pirmais pastāvīgās ekspozīcijas "Latvijas māksla. 19.-20.gadsimts" esksponāts - apmeklētāju iemīļotā Teodora Zaļkalna granītā kaltā skulptūra "Cūka".
