Vērmanes dārzā notiek Latvijas Neredzīgo biedrības Rīgas pilsētas organizācijas rīkotā sociāli izglītojoša akcija, lai skaidrotu sabiedrībai baltā spieķa nozīmi un lomu cilvēku ar redzes invaliditāti dzīvē, kā arī pievērstu uzmanību Starptautiskajai baltā spieķa dienai.
