Alus festivāla Latviabeerfest 2012 Vērmanes dārzā Rīgā līdzās dažādām citām aktivitātēm notika arī „aklā” degustācija, kurā tika piedāvāts testēt 16 alus šķirnes pēc putu noturības, dzidruma un krāsas, aromāta, garšas buķetes un apiņu klātbūtnes.
